You can now use stickers in WhatsApp from the beta for Android

WhatsApp Stickers
Written by Hassan Abbas

One of the main shortcomings when comparing WhatsApp with respect to Telegram or Facebook Messenger was the impossibility of using the famous stickers that the latter has managed to exploit with the support of the community. At last the contest in this area is going to be equal, since the last beta of WhatsApp for Android already includes the possibility of using stickers galleries in our conversations . The only requirement is to install the latest available beta version, v2.18.329.

Input, twelve packs include stickers: Cuppy, Salty, Komo, Bibimbap Friends, Unchi & Rollie, Shiba Inu, The Maladroits, Koko, Hatch, Fearless Fabulous, Banana and Biscuit, many of them recycled Telegram itself. Likewise, we can install external packages of stickers, although at the moment it is not available as it redirects us to Google Play packages that are not integrated with the application.

To be able to use the stickers it is not necessary that all the members of the conversation have the beta, so even if we use the stable client we can see them if they send us one. To find them, we will simply click on the icon to show emojis and next to it and to find animated GIFs we will find the new section. We can add the packages we want to our list of regulars from the icon of the blade, remove those that do not interest us or manage our list of favorites.

We still do not know when this functionality will be implemented in the standard Android client, but there is no problem or risk when using the beta. This customer is stable enough to use it on a regular basis to benefit from the latest features added before anyone else.
