This week, the European presentation of Pocophone F1 – the first smartphone of the new sub-brand of Xiaomi Company – took place. The flagship offers the top processor Snapdragon 845 for an affordable price and has an interesting feature – a special version of the MIUI firmware. It was reported that the interface Poco Launcher will soon be available for download in the store Google Play, and today it happened. The launcher application appeared in the test version.

The interface and working principle of Poco Launcher reminds Pixel Launcher. On the main screen, there is a bar with five icons of the main applications, they can be removed or added at will. The menu opens with a gesture from the bottom up and contains a search string that is located at the bottom. Like the Pixel Launcher, Xiaomi’s Poco Launcher can offer applications based on the frequency of use.

What makes Poco Launcher different from Pixel Launcher is the presence of additional functions. In the launcher, there is a grouping of applications into selected categories (can be automatic or manual), support for third-party icon sets and screen change effects. In addition, users can hide from prying eyes applications from the menu.
