The smartphone uses a more advanced cooling technology thanks to a special space material to dissipate heat.

September 19, Xiaomi introduced the smartphone Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition (also known as Mi 8 Pro), which is essentially the same Mi 8 only with a screened fingerprint scanner. According to the official statement of the company, the speed of unlocking the smartphone has grown by 29% compared to the Mi 8 Explorer Edition, and the efficiency has risen by 8.8%. As it turned out, the on-screen fingerprint sensor is not the only significant change in the device.

Another interesting feature of Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro was told by Chinese company Lin Bin. According to him, the device hides in itself a new more efficient cooling technology. It consists in using a special material made of polymer, which is widely used in space vehicles and spacesuits. When heated, the material absorbs heat and becomes liquid. When the temperature is normal, it hardens.

According to the company, this technology allowed to lower the temperature of the smartphone by 3 degrees at the same load. This is a bit, but, nevertheless, a good improvement, especially for the battery.
