Earlier this month, Huawei introduced the proprietary GPU Turbo technology, which can increase the performance of the graphics processor smartphone by 60% and simultaneously reduce power consumption by 30%. In other words, the device can be overclocked without compromising its autonomy. The first device to receive support for GPU Turbo was Honor Play, but the company has already said that this feature will appear on other smartphones, Huawei and Honor, along with software updates.

The other day the Chinese manufacturer disclosed plans to deploy the GPU Turbo, introducing a list of devices and regions where the technology will be available.

The presentation slide shows that Huawei P20, P20 Pro, Mate 10, Mate Pro and Mate RS will be updated in August this year in Europe, Russia, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. For an unknown reason, Huawei P20 Lite will bypass Russia. Huawei P Smart, Nova 2i, Mate 10 Lite and Y9 (2018) will receive a GPU Turbo in all markets in September. Owners of Huawei Mate 9, Mate 9 Pro, P10 and P10 Plus, regardless of location, will be able to “pump out” their smartphones in November.
