If your mobile device has an IR port, you might be having Peel remote app too. For HTC, Samsung, and some other devices having IR port. Peel remote app comes built-in. However, it’s quite an essential app, the latest updates to it have upset users with lock screen or ad overlays. How to turn off/uninstall Peel remote app from your Mobile device
Now click on Apps and then move through the list and look for the Peel Smart Remote application.
Click on Force stop and then click on Disable.
Now head over to Settings > Apps and click on the 3-dot button and then click on Special access on your Samsung device or just look for “draw over” in Settings and turn off the permission for Peel Smart Remote on other OEM devices.
Then choose to Appear on top and toggle off the permission for Peel Smart Remote on your Samsung mobile device or just find for “modify settings” in Settings. You can then turn off the permission for the Peel Smart remote once again on other OEM devices.
Move back and then choose Change system settings and toggle off the permission for the Peel Remote application.
When you turn off the app, it will be recovered to the original factory model and can’t display up in the app drawer. If you want to turn it on again, repeat the above steps, and choose “Enable”.
