Stop Website Sharing Data on Facebook: Everyone is familiar with Facebook. However, Facebook always following us and recommend the earlier purchased products or we don’t want products. Also, If you see the products on Amazon, Flipkart, Walmart, or whatever Online stores or sites, they provide the data to Facebook. Also, you can view the suggestions in your feed. Without Ads, Facebook can’t run their service. But, When the Ads become irritating to us, We have to take some crucial steps to optimize them. Yes, Now Facebook enables us to stop Other Websites providing our data to Facebook. However, after setting this, you can’t get the Shoe ads that you already buy a month ago.

Every website tracks your activities to gives better Ads experience. But, Facebook is always going way too much. However, if you are the one who loves this type of Ads experience, then you can remain with the default settings.

Stop Website Sharing Data on Facebook (off-Facebook activity)

We can do this entire process in both the Web version and the App. I will separate the steps into two parts. Based on your comfort, you can select one.

1. Wipe your other sites data from Facebook- Web version

You can delete the data temporarily every time, or you can also set up the permanent settings to remove the off-Facebook activity.

1.1 Delete Data Temporarily

Step 1:

Firstly, log in to your Facebook account

Step 2:

Then move to Settings. Here, you can also find many options in the settings. Select Facebook Information.

Step 3:

All your saved data categorized into different types. Select “off-Facebook activity.”

Step 4:

After the selection, you can find various website’s names that shared the data with Facebook.

Step 5:

Now choose the website name. Here you’ll get the list of the website names and how much data they shared.

Step 6:

Also, to clear this data, Choose “Clear History. ” It will remove all the other site’s data saved in your Facebook account.

Step 7:

You can also remove individual websites and apps data. To do this, pick the specific site or app and choose “Turn off future activity from.”

1.2 Stop Data Synchronize Permanently

When you want to stop the sync between the sites and Facebook, you can then follow the steps below to do this.

Step 1:

Firstly, log in to your Facebook account.

Step 2:

Then move to Settings. You can also find a lot of options in the settings. Select Facebook Information.

Step 3:

All your saved data categorized into different types. Select “off-Facebook activity.”

Step 4:

After the selection, you can find various website’s names that shared the data with Facebook.

Step 5:

Now choose the website name. You will find the list of the website names and how much data they shared.

Step 8:

To erase the data synchronize between other sites with Facebook, Choose “Manage Future Activity ” and disable “Future off-Facebook activity.”

Step 9:

The above option will disable the data exchange between third-party sites with your Facebook account.

2. Erase your Third-party website’s data from Facebook App (Android and iOS)

However, the steps are the same as the web version. But some navigation and options name may vary.

2.1 Delete Data Temporarily

Step 1:

Firstly, log in to your Facebook account in your mobile app.

Step 2:

Then choose the hamburger menu and move to “Settings and Privacy.” Then choose Settings. You can also find many options in the settings. Select an “off-Facebook activity” from Your Facebook Information.

Step 3:

Once you select it, you can find various website’s names that shared the data with Facebook.

Step 4:

Now choose the website name. Here you will get the list of the website names and how much data they shared.

Step 5:

To wipe this data, choose “Clear History. ” It will remove all the other site’s data stored in your Facebook account.

Step 6:

You can also choose individual websites and apps data. To do this, choose the specific site or app and select “Turn off future activity from.”

2.2 Stop Data Synchronize Permanently

When you want to stop the sync between the sites and Facebook, just follow the steps below to do this.

After the selection, choose the three-dot menu button in the corner.

Step 5:

To erase the data synchronize between other sites with Facebook, choose “Manage Future Activity ” and disable “Future off-Facebook activity.”

Step 6:

The above option will disable the data exchange between third-party sites with your Facebook account.

Disable Facebook Data Track Completely

Even if you opt to put and wipe history using the above settings, there are many chances you still receive the unlike Ads in your feed. However, to disable the sync of data sites with your account follows the steps below. Also, these settings are standard for both Web versions and Apps.

Steps

Step 1:

Firstly, log in to your Facebook account.

Step 2:

Now move to Settings. You can find many options in the settings. Select Ads>Ad Preferences.

Step 3:

Choose “Ad settings.” After the selection, you will receive three options. These options are Ads based on data from partners, Ads based on your activity, Ads that include your social accounts.

Step 4:

We don’t have to worry about the third one. We can also disable the sync by adjusting the first two settings.

Step 5:

Choose “Ads based on data from partners.” Disable the Allowed option and save your preference. If you didn’t keep the choice, It would back to the default setting.

Step 6:

Once you save it, choose back and pick “Ads based on your activity.” Also, Scroll down to the bottom and pick No. That’s all now you are done with the following Ads everywhere.

Here’s all about Stop Website Sharing Data on Facebook. Without Ads, all websites and apps can’t survive. But, when we view unlimited Ads then we have to take control of our data. Also, when you scroll down your feed on Facebook and some unnecessary Ads are displaying that spoil, your feed should kick out. We can’t disable those Ads. Other platforms give you subscription-based service for those who dislike Ads completely. We can say Youtube Premium, Spotify like that. Also, everyone knows how tough it is to log out completely from Facebook messenger. But, many people already lost hope on Facebook data. I don’t know people will opt-in if they provide some other options for Facebook Ads.
