For 15 minutes, a new accessory will charge the battery almost half. This is enough for 10 hours of continuous work. One of the few drawbacks of a wireless mouse is the need to charge it regularly and for a long time. The well-known company SteelSeries tried to fix this problem and, apparently, it almost succeeded.
The new SteelSeries Rival 650 mouse works without wires for 24 hours from the battery, and only half charges in just 15 minutes. Thus, an avid gamer just has to go and drink tea between batches in some Dota 2 in order to charge his advanced manipulator and get back to business. 15 minutes is enough to provide the next 10 hours of work, and in about 30 minutes the charge is fully replenished.
The manufacturer claims that the Rival 650 is the first mouse with fast charging technology. Gamers will love the fast TrueMove3 + sensor. It provides maximum accuracy (1-in-1, as stated in the SteelSeries), which is very important in shooters and some other game genres. Despite the connection to the computer without wires, the Rival 650 developers promise a minimal delay between the player’s actions and the computer’s response – up to 1 ms.
The European cost of SteelSeries Rival 650 will be 130 euros. Sales will start in the coming weeks.
