It seems that the perforation of the screen for the camera will replace the “bang”. It is hoped that all misunderstood Samsung teaser. At the end of the Chinese conference dedicated to announcing the Galaxy A6s and A9s in the local market, Samsung showed a teaser render of the not yet announced Galaxy A8s smartphone. A representative of a South Korean corporation, who was on the scene, said that the gadget would get an innovation. Thanks to the leaks, it became clear what exactly Samsung had in mind – a hole in the screen under the front-facing camera.
The render (available above) shown during the Chinese presentation clearly shows the absence of sensors on the front panel of the smartphone. The image itself does not indicate a specific innovation, but recently a reputable insider with a Twitter account @UniverseIce stated that installing the front camera in the hole on the screen (and not in the notch, one of the sides adjacent to the top face of the smartphone) will become a trend 2019 Based on this, many have suggested that the Galaxy A8s will become a “trick” to be exactly the hole in the screen.
However, this assumption does not seem particularly plausible, since such a solution is probably difficult to manufacture and is definitely not the best substitute for the cutout in the screen. In addition, it is unclear where Samsung will fit the light sensor and proximity.
We should not exclude that the South Korean company is preparing a smartphone with an exit panel (of the type OPPO Find X, the image of which is available above). In any case, everything will be known in the near future.
There is no doubt that one of the possible innovations described above will debut in the Galaxy A8s, and not in the Galaxy S10 or Note 10 since Samsung had previously revised its device launch strategy. If in the past interesting features from the South Korean corporation debuted as flagships, now the company implements them first in middle-class devices. Vivid examples of this were the Galaxy A7 (2018) with a triple main camera and the Galaxy A9 (2018) with four cameras on the rear panel.
