Samsung is Preparing a Flagship Tablet with an Iris Scanner

In the network, there are more and more leaks with respect to the Galaxy Tab S4. Recently, the Chinese social network Weibo published an alleged live photo of the upcoming flagship tablet from Samsung, revealing some of the features of the device.

According to an insider who published the photo above, the Galaxy Tab S4 is equipped with an iris scanner, the owner’s identification system, to which Samsung is equipping its flagship smartphones in recent years. Also, if you believe a fresh leak, the tablet supports working with the proprietary docking station Dex, which turns a mobile device into a computer (via Dex to the gadget, connect a monitor and keyboard).

It is expected that Samsung will introduce a new flagship tablet during the exhibition IFA 2018, which will be held in September this year. However, some specifications of the Galaxy Tais4 are already known due to leaks:

  • 10.5-inch display with unknown resolution and unusual aspect ratio – 16:10;
  • Processor Snapdragon 835;
  • 4 GB of RAM;
  • 64 GB of user memory;
  • 12-megapixel main camera;
  • 8-megapixel front camera;
  • Android 8.1 Oreo with the shell Samsung Experience 9.5.
