Do you think Pixel 3a Waterproof or not? The Pixel 3a or Pixel 3a XL is being clapped as the best cheapest smartphone as its launch on May 7. The publicity has been real also it’s leaked can’t make it simpler. But it seems like both the Pixel mobile phones have rebound hard. Their reputation has been maintained as quite good phones in general.

The Pixel 3a 5.6-inch is powered by a Snapdragon. It has a 670 processor and compatible with 4GB+64GB internal storage, which is alright. However, if we talk about the camera then it is no doubt the masterpiece of this phone. As it makes up for every other sacrifice that readers are fussing right now. Also, there is a $400 distinction between the 3a series or their flagship cousins such as the Pixel 3 and 3XL. There are some differences in Pixel 3a. It includes the absence of a glass back and wireless charging. Also, Google has selected to forgo the micro sd slot in an offer to transfer all space to the cloud.

One amazing feature that has been heavily gambled is the water-resistant feature of Google Pixel 3. However, it does not exist. Well, the counterpart of Google Pixel 3a and its XL are not certified for water-resistance. Also,  you don’t get an IP rating (IP68, IP53, whatever) using the Pixel 3a or Pixel 3a XL.

What’s More?

So, if your phone dropped into the water, then you must pick it up as quickly as you can. The common rice in the bag tip is your big help for this specific phone.

The Pixel 3a also handles some occasional splashes. Like, say goodbye to using this 12 MP camera underwater. Also, it is not IP6X certified in short it’s not water-resistant.

But it’s an agreement that some of us can live with as our Go Pros and extra recording devices can do the same job or at least that’s what Google’s imagined. After all, water-resistance was the big sacrifice to organize the price of the Pixel 3a.

Fortunately, it’s not the end-all of any phone. Water-resistance is also an additional perk that justifies the cost of a flagship phone. In this situation, it’s just a missing perk, not a big sacrifice.
