As is usually the case, shortly before the announcement of the device in the network appear its high-quality renderers, fully revealing the design of the gadget.

Two days before the announcement of Nokia X5, insiders published allegedly official smartphone renderings on the expanses of Chinese social networks. If they are reliable, the forthcoming device of the middle price segment from HMD Global received an unjustifiably wide cutout in the display under the front sensors and “chin” (the black panel under the screen).

Judging by the renderers, this oversized cutout in the display is an exclusive design solution, since the area occupied by the front sensors is much smaller than that of the “bang”. Although HMD Global succumbed to modern trends and equipped the smartphone with a front panel with a typical design, the gadget still has a recognizable zest of devices of the Finnish company – the back panel.

Thanks to numerous leaks, the main technical characteristics of the Nokia X5 are already known:

  • 5.9-inch display with a resolution of 1440 × 720 pixels;
  • 8-core MediaTek processor;
  • RAM for 3, 4 or 6 GB (depending on the modification);
  • User memory of 32 GB or 64 GB (depending on the modification);
  • The main camera with matrices at 13 + 5 Mp;
  • Battery for 3 000 mAh.

It is expected that the basic modification (with a minimum amount of memory) will be estimated in China at 100 euros. Chances are good that the smartphone will be sold outside the Middle Kingdom.
