1. To Sign in to iCloud _ Photo Not Available:

This is an iOS device that does not have to be signed in to iCloud. So, You can also use it without ever adding an account to iCloud. Just by doing so means if you won’t be able to use some features. This is one of which is the iMessage profile feature.

How To fix this:

  1. You have to open the Settings app.
  2. Also, at the very top, then you will see the Apple ID that your device uses. Now, Tap it.
  3. This is available On the Apple ID screen, then tap iCloud.
  4. If prompt this, sign in to iCloud with the same Apple ID that you use for iMessage.

2. To Enable Apple ID for iMessage _ Photo Not Available:

This is available On an iPhone, so you can also send and receive messages on your phone number. Now, You do not necessarily have to use your Apple ID for it. This is available on the Macs if you can’t use a phone number which is why the Apple ID is necessary. In case, if you don’t enable Apple ID for iMessage though. Then you won’t be able to turn on name and photo sharing.

  1. You have to open the Settings app.
  2. Click on the Messages.
  3. Then Tap Send & Recieve.
  4. You have to Tap on ‘Use Your Apple ID For iMessage‘.
  5. This is Confirm on the pop-up that you want to use your Apple ID. You have to make sure it is the same one that is signed into the device in the Settings app.
  6. When iMessage will also enable this for your Apple ID. Then you can turn on Name and Photo sharing.

3. To Sign out of iCloud and iMessage:

So, Generally speaking, signing into iCloud and iMessage with the same Apple ID. This will also solve the problem but sometimes an iOS device. Also, having trouble connecting to Apple’s servers and enabling name and photo sharing.

  1. You have to open the Settings app.
  2. Then Tap your Apple ID at the top.
  3. Now, Scroll to the bottom, and tap Sign Out.
  4. In the Next step, return to the main Settings app screen, and then tap on Messages.
  5. To Turn off iMessages.
  6. Now, Restart your iPhone.
  7. Then open the Settings app, and sign in with your Apple ID.
  8. To Select Messages on the main Settings app screen, and then enable iMessage. This is for both your phone number and the Apple ID that you just signed in with.

4. To Enable Facetime for Apple ID:

However, these features are not connected to FaceTime. In case, if you do not have FaceTime enabled. This may also prevent you that is from turning on Name and also photo sharing.

  1. You have to open the Settings app and tap FaceTime.
  2. Then turn on FaceTime
  3. Now, Tap on the ‘Use your Apple ID for FaceTime’ option.
  4. Then Sign in with the same Apple ID that you’re using in the Settings app.
