The new “flagship killer” will be released later than expected. Today OnePlus officially announced the date and place of its announcement.  On Sunday, October 7, the OnePlus company intrigued its brand fans with a message in which many saw a hint of the OnePlus 6T release. But today, instead of the expected announcement, the company just announced the date for the presentation of the successor of OnePlus 6.

On the official Twitter page, OnePlus published an invitation to the presentation of OnePlus 6T. It will be held on October 30 in New York at 11:00 am EST (6:00 pm Moscow time). Interestingly, earlier sources called the 17th number as the date of the announcement of the OnePlus 6T.

Everyone can attend the upcoming event. Ticket order is open on the official site A discounted ticket costs $20 instead of $30.

The main difference between the OnePlus 6T and its predecessor will be a frameless display with a drop-like protrusion in the upper part under the front-facing camera. Its diagonal will grow from 6.3 to 6.4 inches. The fingerprint scanner will be built right into the screen. Like the OnePlus 6, the new smartphone will receive an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.
