The existing stuffing and software platform Surface Phone would not interest people, so Microsoft will update them.

Authoritative foreign edition Thurrott reported with reference to its sources that Microsoft did not abandon the development of Surface Phone, but temporarily suspended the development of the project in order to revise its strategy. In other words, the Redmond giant can still release its innovative device, but much later than originally planned.

If you believe the latest information, Microsoft intended to release Surface Phone in the second half of 2018, but literally at the last moment revised the concept of the device and decided to postpone its plans. The management of the American corporation did not see any good reasons that would encourage people to purchase Surface Phone and decided to finalize the hardware and software.

Apparently, the basic concept of a pocket-sized folding device will remain, but its filling and software platform will completely change. Most likely, Microsoft will install an economical processor on the ARM architecture (which, perhaps, has not even been introduced yet) in the updated Surface Phone, capable of running universal applications from the Windows Store.

It remains to be hoped that the Redmond giant will be able to translate his idea and make at least this device really interesting and in demand among people.
