- Head to this link and download Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter.
- Then double-click the download file in order to run the Troubleshooter.
- Make sure to tap on Advanced and then checkmark “Apply repair automatically.“

sfc /scannow

Disable the Windows Firewall | Mail Keeps Closing
- Tap on the Windows key + R in order to open the Run command. Now, you have to type control firewall.cpl in the search field. Tap on OK.
- In the Control Panel window, just tap on Turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off on the left side as well.
- In the next window, head to the Private network settings section and then choose the radio button next to Turn off Windows Defender Firewall.
- Now, head to the Public network settings section and choose the radio button next to Turn off Windows Defender Firewall.
- Tap on OK in order to save the changes and exit.
Your mail app should be working now as well. If the problem persists, then try the 4th method.
