The macOS 10.15.2 SDK provides support for developing apps for Macs running macOS Catalina 10.15.2. The SDK comes with Xcode 11.3 available from the Mac App Store.
Apple launch MacOS Catalina 10.15.2 beta 3 testings by Mac users enrolled in the Mac system software beta testing program.
Usually, a developer beta build becomes available first, soon followed by the same beta build as a public beta version. MacOS Catalina, 10.15.2 beta 3 is likely to focus on error fixes, improvements, and enhancements to the MacOS Catalina operating system (OS). It’s still doubting if any new features will be included in the launch.
This third beta comes after the release of the second. Apple’s developer notice that release reported the chief update was too specific networking issues. Apple added top-level domains .dev and .app to its implementation of the HTTP Strict Transport Security system to help safe browsing.
There have been mixed reports of problems with macOS Catalina experienced by some users who are running the current MacOS Catalina release and some of these problems may be addressed in macOS 10.15.2.
Mac users who are enrolled in the MacOS beta testing program can find MacOS Catalina 10.15.2 beta 3 updates available to download now from the “Software Update” section of System Preferences.
Currently and the most recently available stable final build of MacOS Catalina is MacOS Catalina 10.15.1. Separately, Apple is also beta testing iOS 13.3, watchOS 6.1.1, iPadOS 13.3 and tvOS 13.3.
Typically Apple issues multiple beta versions of system software before issuing a final build to the general public. Therefore it’s reasonable to expect that macOS 10.15.2 final could be Launched within the coming days, weeks or months.
