Install LineageOS 17 ROM on OnePlus 7

You can download and install Android 10 ROM on OnePlus 7 smartphone using our easy steps guide. Soon after Google released the new Android version for their Pixel smartphones, the third-party developers start to build custom ROM using the latest AOSP 10 Source code. Finally, after a long wait, the OnePlus 7 users are getting the latest Android 10 based Lineage OS 17 ROM.

The Android 10 flashing process is risky. Neither we nor the developers of this ROM will be held responsible for any damage occurs. Follow the instructions carefully.


This Lineage OS 17 ROM is only compatible with OnePlus 7 (codename: guacamoleb). Don’t try to flash this unofficial firmware on OnePlus 7 Pro or any other device, as it might brick your phone.


  • Don’t forget to charge your phone at least 50% to avoid interruption.

Steps to install LineageOS 17 ROM on OnePlus 7:

Step 1:
Firstly, Download LineageOS 17 ROM.

Step 2:

Also, Download Google Apps.

Note: Make sure Do NOT extract these zip files.

Step 3:

Switch off your phone and reboot it into TWRP mode.

Step 4:

Press and hold the Volume Up + Power button simultaneously. Leave both the keys once you see the fastboot screen.

Step 5:

Use Volume keys to select the Recovery option and press the Power key to confirm it.

Note: If you are not able to boot the phone into recovery, use the Reboot Recovery app from Play Store.

This is how you can restart your mobile into the TWRP recovery mode.

Step 6:

Take Nandroid backup but make sure this is the backup of your entire Android operating system.

Step 7:

After backup, go to the TWRP main screen and click on the Wipe option.

Step 8:

Now swipe in the right direction to start the wiping process.

Note: It’ll remove your entire phone data. So take a backup before performing this step.

Step 9: 

Then go back to the main menu and again tap on the Wipe button.

Step 10:

Then click on the Advanced Wipe option.

Step 11:

Now choose Dalvik / ART cache, Data, System and cache partitions.

Note: Do NOT tick any other partitions.

Step 12:

Swipe right to start the wiping process. Let’s start the OnePlus 7 LineageOS 17 ROM flashing process.

Step 13:

Click Install to view all your files and folders present on the phone.

Step 14:

Now Navigate to the LineageOS 17 ROM zip file which you’ve downloaded earlier and selected it. Then swipe in the right direction to start the OnePlus 7 Android 10 ROM flashing process. Calm down and wait until the process completes. After completion, a successful message will appear on the screen.

Step 15: 

Similarly, install the Google Apps (GApps) zip package file which you’ve downloaded earlier.

Step 16:

Finally! Everything completes here. Simply restart your phone from Reboot » System and experience the all-new Android 10 update on OnePlus 7.

Note: The first boot will take some time to start than usual. But it’ll be normal after a couple of reboots.
