Now look for the About Phone and click 7-8 times continuously on the MIUI version. Also, it will show ‘You are now a developer’.

Now access developer options so move ahead to Settings > Additional Settings > Developer Options.

In developer options, here are the options, but you have to turn on OEM unlocking and USB Debugging.

Now, remember that your device is connected to a fast internet connection. Just connect to the internet using the same number that you used in the Mi account. Then again head over to Developer Options > Mi Unlock Status and link your Mi Account.

Step 9:

Switch off your phone. When the device is turn off. Simply Long press Volume Down + Power button simultaneously to boot Redmi K30 Pro into Fastboot mode. Then release both buttons when the Mi Bunny image display up on the Android phone.

Step 10:

Remember that your computer is connected to the fast Internet network connection. Also, open the Mi Unlock Tool and sign in using the same Mi account that you are using on your Android Redmi Note 9.

Step 11:

When it analyzes your phone tap on the ‘Unlock Now’ button.

Prerequisites

  • Make sure bootloader is unlocked
  • Download Magisk Manager APK
  • Install ADB & Fastboot driver (Ignore if already installed)
  • Take a full backup before starting the process
  • Install the firmware for your Android

Root Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 with Magisk

Step 1:

Initially, extract the Redmi K30 Pro firmware on your PC and in the extracted folder you will find the boot.img.

Step 2:

CTRL+C the boot.img and Magisk Manager APK to your Redmi K30 Pro.

Step 3:

Also, download the Magisk Manager app on your Android then follow the below steps carefully.

Step 4:

Once done, open the Magisk Manager app then tap on the Install > Install.

Step 5:

Once you tap on Install, a pop-up screen appears, so pick “Select and Patch a File”. Then locate and choose the boot.img.

Step 6:

It will begin patching the boot image file so wait until the patching to finish.

Step 7:

When the patching output file stored in the download folder having name magisk_patched.img or patched_boot.img.

Step 8:

Now Ctrl+C the magisk_patched.img to your PC C:\adb and again specify name it to boot.img.

Step 9:

Then switch off your phone. And then boot Redmi K30 Pro into Fastboot mode (press & hold Volume Down + Power button simultaneously).

Step 10:

Attach your phone to the PC via USB cable when the phone is in Fastboot Mode.

Step 11:

Move to C:\adb location and then replace the location tab using CMD and hit enter. It will open the command window on your PC.

Step 12:

In the CMD window input the below command and it should return some ID which means the device is connected.

Also, input the below command to flash patched boot image and then root Redmi K30 Pro.

Step 14:

Once done flashing, reboot your phone into the PC and then enjoy the root access on your Android.
