A Quick Rundown of Recent Calls

As you are familiar with the symbols and indicators in the Phone app. You just open it up and click Recents at the bottom.

You can also select to view All calls or just Missed ones with the buttons at the top.

  • Calls that show in red are those that you missed.
  • Also, Calls with a phone symbol and arrow to the left are calls that you made.
  • Calls that show in black are ones you answered.

Save a phone number to Contacts

As you can view in your list of Recents as well as Missed. Also, you have an Info icon at the top on the right. This provides you details about the call and caller if they’re already in your Contacts list.

Step 1:

To save a new number, click that Info icon for that call.

Step 2:

Choose to Create New Contact, Add to Existing Contact, or Add to Emergency Contacts.

Step 3:

Depending on which choice you select. Simply follow the prompts to continue and save that number to your Contacts.

Now, whenever you receive a call from that number you saved. It displays the name you assign to that Contact. And, you can also make calls to them much easier from your contacts list or using Siri.
