Do you want to Modify Your FaceTime Email Address? While having an active FaceTime account, there may be some cases when you don’t want a specific email address to be registered with it.

For example, if you don’t want your family and friends to contact you on ‌FaceTime‌ using your work email address, or you like to keep your personal email separate from your work contacts.

How To Modify Your FaceTime Email Address:

That’s the reason Apple has made it quite possible for you to modify the email addresses that are registered with your ‌FaceTime‌ account. The following steps show you how it’s done.

Step 1:

Initially launch the Settings app on your iOS devices such as iPhone or iPad.

Step 2:

Now move down and click ‌FaceTime‌.

Step 3:

If you’re not signed in to ‌FaceTime‌ using your Apple ID, click Use your ‌Apple ID‌ for ‌FaceTime‌, then click Sign In, or click Use Other ‌Apple ID‌ and input the credentials that you like to use.

Step 4:

Click on the tick mark located at the left of the email address(es) that you like to de-register with ‌FaceTime‌.

Step 5:

Also, click the email address(es) that you want to register using ‌FaceTime‌ so that a checkmark appears.

Make sure ‌FaceTime‌ enables you to register various emails on different devices. So remember to register your work email on your ‌iPhone‌ and your personal email using your ‌iPad‌, for example. You can also add different email addresses so that you can be contacted by anyone of them.
