The Chinese insider under the nickname @MMDDJ_ posted in his Twitter account photos of the canceled smartphone from Samsung codenamed SM-G929F. If you believe the old rumors, first appeared in 2015, this name hides a folding smartphone of the South Korean corporation. It was developed within the framework of Project Valley, but it was later canceled.

As you can see in the photos, Samsung’s idea was to attach an additional screen to the smartphone using a hinged design. This is clear on the thickness of the second panel – there is clearly no stuffing in it like a processor or a battery. Apparently, the smartphone was created in the form factor of the book – an additional display was formed behind the case. Apparently, the SM-G929F was supposed to replace the tablets.

As time showed, Samsung abandoned the device developed within the Project Valley. Either in 2015, the technology was not allowed to implement conceived by South Korean engineers, or a gadget of this design was impractical. If the first thought above is correct, the mystical Galaxy X will most likely be similar to the SM-G929F. According to rumors, the novelty will be presented in 2019 – waiting for the innovative device is not so long.
