Get Sileo on the Checkra1n Jailbreak: Here is good news the Sileo Team’s Sileo package manager is now officially available for iOS 13 for the first time on the checkra1n jailbreak. It’s the first time Sileo has been made available for a jailbreak not authored by the Electra Team.

If you want to get Sileo on your checkra1n device immediately, then you are in the right place. This step-by-step tutorial will guide you through the steps to do so.

Installing Sileo on checkra1n

Before we get started, make sure that installing Sileo will uninstall the default Cydia package manager. So, in that case, we are not aware of any official means of getting Cydia back after installing Sileo. If you should ever want to get Cydia back, you would need to restore your device completely and re-jailbreak with checkra1n.

We prefer waiting for the checkra1n loader app to pick up support for Sileo natively. But if you can’t wait then proceed at your own risk. Here is steps mention below so follow them carefully!

Step 1:

Open the Cydia package manager and click on the Sources tab

Step 2:

Now click on the blue Edit button at the top right of the app.

Step 3:

Then, click on the blue Add button at the top left of the app.

Step 4:

A pop-up prompt appears, type the following repository URL, then click the Add Source button:

repo.sileoteam.apps
Step 5:

After the repository loads, click on Cydia’s Changes tab to find a new package called Sileo Pro (checkra1n). Click on it.

Step 6:

Click on the blue Install button at the top right of the app.

Step 7:

Then click on the blue Confirm button at the top right of the app.

Step 8:

Once the installation completes, tap on the Return to Cydia button.

Step 9:

A prompt appears to install Essential Upgrades. Tap on the Complete Upgrade option.

Step 10:

While finding yourself at the install queue, click on the blue Confirm button at the top right of the app.

Step 11:

Cydia will warn you about the risks of removing essential packages. Tap the Force Removal (Unsafe) option.

Step 12:

Once the installation completes, you can close Cydia and Sileo will appear on your Home screen:

That’s all there is to it – enjoy Sileo!

Note: Cydia may appear on your Home screen once you install Sileo. But after launching the latter Cydia will be removed completely.

Conclusion:

The Sileo Team add Sileo to checkra1n’s official Loader app. Make sure it’s still unconfirmed if this will happen or not.
