Step 1:
Install and Download the latest Android 10 Gapps from the links below:
- ARM64 Devices: BiTGApps-arm64-10.0.0-v0.6_signed.zip – This is the 64-bit version of Gapps and it works on most recent devices.
- ARM Devices: BiTGApps-arm-10.0.0-v0.6_signed.zip – This version is used with older smartphones running 32-bit architecture such as Samsung Galaxy S5.
Step 2:
Make sure just place the downloaded zip file to the root of your device.
Step 3:
Then switch OFF your device and boot into Recovery Mode.
Step 4:
In custom recovery, scroll down to “flash zip from SD card” and press the POWER button to select it.
Step 5:
Now press the POWER button again and select “choose zip from SD card”.
Step 6:
Now using your VOLUME keys, just navigate to ZIP FILE and choose it using the POWER button. Now confirm the installation on the next screen and the installation procedure should start now.
Step 7:
Once the installation completes, go to the “Go Back” option and reboot the device by selecting the Reboot option from the recovery menu. The device will boot now.
Now you will have all the apps installed. You can view them in the app drawer and use them like normal apps.
These are critical system apps but the normal user doesn’t have permission to uninstall them. As we mentioned earlier, to remove these apps you need to factory reset and install the custom ROM again.
