Flying Arrow for Windows 7/8/8.1/10/XP/Vista/MAC OS/Laptop
Flying Arrow Gameplay
Independent studio Voodoo comes with yet another simple game for you to test on your mobile device. The tip of the turn is Flying Arrow, available for tablets and smartphones.
In this game, you must test your skills as an archer and see the maximum distance travelled by your arrow. If you want to opt for shorter paths, you can also shoot the object in the direction of targets, which in turn generate more coins.
The idea is that you get as many coins as you can to evolve the firing force of your arrow. The larger it is, the greater the range of the arrow as it is fired. Remembering that currencies are also obtained by the distance travelled; this will depend on the effectiveness and strength of the bow.
To launch a new arrow, simply touch the screen and drag your finger down. You will see a red bar on the left of the display indicating that the maximum force has already been reached and that the arrow is ready for use. While it is in progress, you can still move it to the sides or try to lightly toss it up to stay longer in the air.
Voodoo is already known for developing more basic mobile gaming options, and Flying Arrow! is one more of them. Your only aim to improve the strength of your arrow so that it can reach great distances – and, consequently, generate a larger number of coins.
However, what could be fun turns out to be a game without great attractions and with some problems. Starting with the visual part: the graphics are not well made and it looks like they have not been optimized for the various devices on the market. It is normal to encounter frame crashes and even bugs that force us to close the application.
Another issue in Flying Arrow! is that the scenery is always the same. You start in a forest and, as the strength of your arrow increases, you travel across islands and villages alike. It would be interesting if there were a greater variety of environments; for example, imagine what a journey would be like in the big city or even in space.
In this same lack of versatility are the sound effects. Or rather, they do not meet, since there is no specific sound of the arrow flying or being fired. There is a background soundtrack, however, it is also bland and repetitive.
In addition, the game relies on another downside of most of Voodoo’s titles: the overuse of advertisements. And when we say exaggerated it is because the thing is serious indeed. Practically between around and another we have to watch a video of a few seconds to play again.
