The American company Fossil Group, which produces various expensive accessories and jewelry in cooperation with world fashion brands, announced the release of the smartwatch Emporio Armani Connected 2018. The main feature of the device, however, like most other products of the company, is their design, developed by the Italian house fashion.

The gadget is equipped with a 1.9-inch touchscreen display such as AMOLED and, oddly enough, already morally outdated chipset Snapdragon Wear 2100 from Qualcomm. Novelty received a heart rate sensor, GPS modules, and NFC.

The full characteristics of the watch are as follows:

  • Display: 1.19 inches, touchscreen, resolution 390 × 390 pixels;
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100;
  • Operating system: Wear OS 2.0;
  • Communication: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC;
  • The diameter of the dial: 43 mm;
  • The thickness of the watch: 8 mm;
  • Water resistance: 3 ATM;
  • Other: heart rate sensor.

Since this is primarily a fashion accessory, the main attention was paid to the appearance of the watch. Emporio Armani Connected 2018 are made in a case of stainless steel of classical form, they have three variants of coloring: black, silver and pink. The manufacturer also offers metal and leather straps of the corresponding colors.

The watch has Google Assistant, Google Pay, and Google Fit installed. The Chinese version of the gadget instead of the services of the search giant was supported by Alipay payment system, Tic Health fitness application, and a Mobvoi voice assistant.

The Emporio Armani Connected 2018 watch will go on sale in Europe before the end of this month for $295. In the near future, the company Fossil Group will begin accepting applications for pre-orders.
