At E3 2018 during the presentation of Microsoft, we were shown a new trailer for the Cyberpunk 2077 project. It is worth noting that the previous video on this game was released five years ago, for all this time the developers have not told anything about their creation. The new trailer slightly clarified the situation – we were shown the main character, the virtual world, and its features. Of course, it’s rather difficult to evaluate the possibilities of the game process on presentation.

Fortunately, CD Projekt Red employees let representatives of specialized media to secret stands where they could play a demo version of the product. To shoot a photo or video was forbidden, plus only the elite was allowed. It turned out that Cyberpunk 2077 is a first-person role-playing game. This is the first thing that surprised both journalists and users, who were a little upset by this fact. The developers quickly calmed the fans and said that they did not create a “first-person shooter”.

FPS as well as Third Person:

There will be a lot of scripts in the game where you will control the hero from the third person. The same in the cutscenes and dialogues. The latter, by the way, play a crucial role in the study of the virtual world – the characters will tell you a lot of interesting information about the “Night City“, they will give tasks and just chatter.

Here, CD Projekt Red’s love for quality products was manifested – absolutely all the dialogues, phrases and stories of the characters of the virtual city are announced. That is, you can approach any NPC on the street, ask him a question, and he will answer with a voice, not just a text on the screen.

The developers said that they could not help but voice the speech, as the text dialogues and narrations have long been out of fashion. Yes, and it would greatly spoil the sensation of the gamer from what is happening on the screen. Even imagine such a volume of work is obtained with difficulty. A huge open world with hundreds of residents to sound long and expensive.

At the beginning of the game, you will have the opportunity to choose the gender of the character, but you can not change the name. Our hero is called V (Vee, not five), the user will be able to customize his appearance for a number of parameters. Hair, hair color, skin color, tattoos, clothing and so on. Plus, at the start, you will have to choose the background of your hero, which influences the development of events and the attitude of the characters to your person. Then you need to distribute the points of characteristics. As in any RPG, you will have strength, intelligence, agility and so on. These parameters also strongly affect the gameplay and options for the passage of the storyline.

Cyberpunk 2077 goes to PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The exact date of the release no one calls, but we can assume that this masterpiece will be released before 2020. Otherwise, why CD Projekt Red to do the project under the consoles, which they already plan to replace with a new generation.
