Steps | Cannot Create Value

  • Close this error dialog box and then right-click on the registry key where you guys want to make the changes and then tap on Permissions.
  • Then in the Permissions box, under its sole security tab, now highlight your own Administrators account. As well as user account and then just check the box under Full Control – Allow. If it is checked and then uncheck the deny box.
  • Now apply and then OK. If it still doesn’t really work and you get the following security warning. Just Unable to save permission changes, then do the following:
  • Now open the Permissions windows again and tap on the Advanced button instead.
  • And now tap on change next to the Owner.
  • Do you see another owner like say, Aditya or anything other than your account actually? If so, then change owner to your Name. If not then type the user name of your account and tap on check name, then select your name. Tap on Apply and then OK.
  • Next, just check “Replace owner on subcontainers and objects” and then also check “Replace all child object permission entries with inheritable permission entries from this object”. Tap on Apply and then just click on OK.
  • NOW again in the Permissions box, which is under its sole security tab, just highlight your own Administrators account. And then check the box under Full Control – Allow. Tap on Apply and then OK.
