ASUS Corporation introduced in Taiwan smartphone ZenFone Ares, which became the successor of last year’s ZenFone AR. The novelty received exactly the same characteristics and design as its predecessor, but its price is much lower – $330.
Features ZenFone Ares are supported for the augmented reality platform Google ARCore and virtual reality Daydream. The smartphone can display digital objects in the real world thanks to an advanced 23-megapixel main camera that captures “three-dimensional information” (probably the camera simply determines the depth of objects).
