- Now tap on File then select Save As.
- From Save as type drop-down choose “All Files” and navigate to where you need to save the file.
- Name the file as fix_update.bat (.bat extension is really important) and then tap Save.
- Right-tap on the fix_update.bat file and choose Run as Administrator.
- This will restore and register your DLL files fixing the Error 0x8E5E0147.
Temporarily Disable Antivirus | 0x8e5e0147
- Right-tap on the Antivirus Program icon from the system tray and choose Disable.
- Next, choose the time frame for which the Antivirus will remain disabled.
